Street Photography takes many forms from “Fine Art” street photography to the ideas rooted in the early decades of the twentieth century’s emergence of the genre - the often everyday unmediated chance encounters and random incidents within a public space.

These often candid moments can be light and transient or heavy with character, sentiment and expression. These are the moments that allow the viewer to interrupt their own individual story.

For many this is the essence of Street Photography and it stands by itself, but also contributes to many other important areas that span social commentary, documentary photography, portraiture and social history.
